”Valitse hetki” on melankolian ja eskapismin analyysi. Pakomatka suuntautuu avaruuden rauhaa ja hiljaisuuteen, mutta ajautuu hajoamisvaaraan jo alkumetreillä historian metaforien eläessä omaa elämäänsä. Avaruuskoira Laika kuolee sydänkohtaukseen. Voyagerin kantama viesti on yhtäaikaa väkivaltainen ja mieletön. Eivätkä Lars Von Trierin, Antoine de Saint-Exupéryn ja Tarkovskyn taivaankappaleilta löydy lepoa, kun jokainen filosofia näyttäisi sisältävän oman tuhonsa ainekset.

CASR on lyhenne englanninkielisistä sanoista Caustic Audioacustic Soundbite Rollout. Se on esitysohje äänirunolle, joka esitetään ainoastaan lyömäsoitinten ja ihmisäänen avulla. 

CASR – Caustic Audioacustic Soundbite Rollout is a score for sound poem, performed solely by samples of percussion and vocal soundbite.

“Olin turhautunut useampaan runoon, joita työstin kirjaa varten. Lopulta ne jäivätkin pois viimeisestä versiosta. En halunnut uudelleenkirjoittaa niitä, joten päätin muuttaa ne tunnistamattomiksi. Hajotin ne osiin ja aakkostin jokaisen tekstin.”

“I was frustrated by several poems I made for a book. Eventually they were cut from the final version. I didn’t wanted to rewrite them so I decided to transform them beyond recognition. I broke them down and alphabetized every text.”
