Last year Nokturno launched a new residency program for poets and artists using poetry in their work. We now announce an open call for the second Digital Residency in April/May 2018.
Nokturno’s Digital Residence is a virtual residency program inviting poets and artists to create digital poetry and/or explore and use digital resources as part of their practise. The residency period extends from two to four weeks in April and/or May depending on applicant’s working plan. The residency is open for poets but also artists using poetry in their work are encouraged to apply.
The poet/artist is provided with a virtual gallery/working space at Nokturno.fi and the opportunity to utilize it in for example
– Creating and releasing a new work of digital poetry
– Inviting visitors of the site to follow one’s practise via digital means
– Creating and maintaining an interactive work for the duration of the residency
– Exploring a topic related to poetry and the digital world in a digital environment open for visitors
