Stephanie Stricklandin runot ovat valikoima vanhaan englantilaiseen kellonsoittometodiin perustuvasta Ringing the Changes -runoteoksesta. Teoksen pohjana on vanha englantilainen kellonsoittometodi, jossa seitsemän kellon kaikki mahdolliset soittojärjestykset (5040) käydään läpi niin, että yksikään niistä ei toistu. Painettu runoteos perustuu seitsemän kellon muutoksiin ja jokaisella ”kellolla” on oma teemansa, lähtökohtansa ja tekstilähteensä. Valikoiman on kuratoinut Nokturnolle Matti Kangaskoski.

Liberty Ring! on Stricklandin ja runoilija Ian Hatcherin yhteisteos, joka pohjautuu samaiseen kellonsoittometodiin ja ammentaa Yhdysvaltojen nykyisestä poliittisesta tilanteesta.

A selection of procedural poetry by Stephanie Strickland, based on old English bell ringing method. All possible arrangements of seven bells are rung in order, none of them repeating. One arrangement is called a change. With seven bells there are 5040 changes and ringing them through takes approximately three hours. Strickland´s book is based on changes of seven bells and each bell has its own theme and literary source. This selection is curated by Matti Kangaskoski as part of his guest curator issue in Nokturno.

Liberty Ring! is a joint work by Strickland and poet Ian Hatcher. Based on the same bell ringing method as Ringing the Changes but here the reader is invited to ring the bell. The work also draws on different literary sources.
