ACTION AMAIN (or DIYH*)

“Action Amain is about conduction of thought experiments to evoke weird feelings.

These are no poems – only recipes to make the poem happen in the readers head. In this case poetry is the strange feeling that comes after the particular experience.

The main source of inspiration for this series is Fluxus. George Brecht and Yoko Ono performance sheets in particular. Title happened because of a cut-up.

Every poem was made on the fly without any preparation and further rewriting.”

1.

TREMBLE
the way
no one can’t see
because it is so fast for human eye.
Or just stand still and pretend to be trembling.
One way or another –
It may be funny.

2.

negligently
pound the paint
attached to the chair
tarry each try –
sigh
sooner
a bit
(hop)

3.

Put a staircase into the well.
SMiLE.
Then – think about it.

4.

subdue the can
anyway
but with your eyes closed.
give it to the bird.
Wait ’till it’s dark then go away.

5.

nick
your hair
in the end of the right moment
all over the sudden
Feels inapprehensible

6.

Uhm
ok…
like…
uh…see there’s this…
the thing is…
and…
well then…uhm…
and then…
uh…
nevermind
forget about it,
you would not understand it anyway…..
“…

…fisting the fish.”
wait!
why?
… …and how?

7.

dreamt:
T,O,U,C,H,I,N,G
heart
by nose.
-“heck!”

8.

Perform a torture
on foam.
Just because.

9.

Put a brick of soap into the soup.
Whip it with your eyelash.
Write your name with drops sparkling out of dish.

10.

Let your tears fall – literally
while you are peeling map from the globe.

11.

Get a chocolate.
Sit on it
for a while.
Eat it.
Get your hands dirty.
Take a Pillow in your hands.
Leave some fingerprints.
Put the pillow in your pocket.
PUNCH it with a battlecry.
Wait ’till your heartbeat gets usual.

12.

Perform a masterful Slip.
Fall on your back.
Do it loudly.
Let the flashes jump before your eyes
Look closely
Remember their moves.
Take a nap.
Then –
Put the patterns together.
Make a picture.
…happens.

13.

Take a sheet of paper
Make a ball.
Now:
thou shalt pound paint
attached to the chair
abstractedly
:tarry, try,
sigh.
(hop)
“a bit sooner than usual”

14.

after a decent pause
tide over the can
up until the point
when it’s flat enough
to be thrown
faraway
later
find the bird
strike the palms together repeatedly
celebrating this bosh moment

15.

get a long hair
(wait until it grows long or buy a wig – no matter)
pull it;
put it in your mouth;
suck it;
all over the sudden
listen to the imaginary sound of besting
’till it feels inapprehensible

16.

umbra moves.
closer.
you can see the bra
and it’s not funny
– it’s a cloud
in a bra.
And then:
“beck,
sweep,
bow,
waft…”

…eyes clap,
thunder.
…definite funk.

17.

fidgety flash,
breath
:
finger moves to thumb.
together they move against each other…
wait!
Is it a kind of osculation?
Uh-hm.
