Katkelma on hahmon toiselle hahmolle antama lahja, vaatekaapista l\u00f6ytyv\u00e4 virtuaalinen todellisuus.<br \/>\nA piece located in virtual reality from a hybrid-genre speculative fiction work, <em>6-foot pine: life and romance in the chrondemic age<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Teksti, \u00e4\u00e4ni, video, toteutus | Text, reading, video, VR &amp; AR design \u00a0 Cliff Watson<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>In a vignette from my hybrid-genre story,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/digital.lib.washington.edu\/researchworks\/handle\/1773\/47285\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">6-foot pine: life and romance in the chrondemic age<\/a>, a virtual reality room is created in an old storage closet as a gift from one character to another.<br \/>\n<\/em><em>In the hope of creating an immersive experience for my readers, I made an initial proof-of-concept &#8220;VR room&#8221; in\u00a0Adobe Dimension and &#8220;walked through it&#8221; via augmented reality using Adobe Aero. Unsatisfied with the depth of the experience, I imported the room into Unity\u00a0with\u00a0AR Foundation to more deeply recreate themes from the story, including floating lights and sparrow-balloons.
