Nokturno\u2019s digital residence is a virtual residency program inviting poets and artists to explore and use digital resources as part of their practice. The resident is provided a virtual gallery\/working space at Nokturno.fi, built together with the team of the website, and the opportunity to utilize it in for example:
\n1. creating and releasing a new work of poetry in digital format
\n2. inviting the visitors of the website to follow one\u2019s practice via digital means
\n3. researching a topic related to the intersections and fusions of poetry and the digital world (both academic and artistic research are welcome)<\/p>\n
We provide technical support when needed. The residence can begin at the earliest in August but the exact starting date and duration of the residency is open for the applicant(s) to suggest based on their work plan.\u00a0 There are no requirements for the resident’s physical location during the residency period. As a stipend we pay thousand euros.<\/p>\n
Deadline for applications (work plan and cv) is 31st of March. Applications are welcomed at toimitus@nokturno.fi. We\u00b4ll announce the selected poet(s)\/artist(s) by 3oth of April.
